Best MB for AMD S979?

I'm building anew computer and I'm wondeing about the best MB around. I'm looking for a motherboard with :

- If possible, SB Audigy on-board car or a f*ck*ng good audio card.

-Ethernet 10/100 Input ( I' don't wanna waste a slot for a PCI Ethernet card)

.. and I was wondering if the SLI is really worth something?

I heard those 979 motherboards aren't as good as the 939 motherboards...I even heard a rumour that the 979 motherboards don't even exist! That's just crazy talk!
