Cannot view thumbnail images nor use search button on youtube

Hi everyone. I am running Window 7 Home Premium as my O/S. The other day I downloaded an update to CCleaner. When I started to run the update I forgot to uncheck the box which would install Google chrome on my system. I at once uninstalled Google chrome. However, now when I go to youtube I cannot view thumbnail images nor use their seach button. Now after uninstalling Chrome, I'm being told to to install the lastest Flash Player and Java script, which I did. I even restored my system to an earlier date. I checked all the necessary security setting. But nothing works seems to work. I am hoping some can help me.

What browser do you use?
Restore the default settings to that browser and try again.
