hi, i need a new watercooling system, either a kit or components DIY, i had been using koolance EXos-1 and Corsair Hydrocool ex 2, i'm now upgrading to a new rig, which the watercooling system is going to be cooling 2 opteron 275 on Tyan k8we, 2 6800 ultra pci-e, mb chipset and 2 cheetah, i'm going to overclock this system, both processors and video cards, my budget for this watercooling is no more than 400.

i'm currently looking at EXos2 or Asetek's waterchill, other products are welcome too.

thanks,
allen

Thats a HELL OF A SYSTEM you're setting up

the rule of thumb i've always been told for Watercooling is only max of 2 devices per loop.

so looks like you'll either need a sheetload of loops... or some impressive cooling for that heated water

Lol this is almost hilarious, so you're buying Opterons for gaming?! There better be another use for that system, because if it's just for gaming, i'm going to be ROFLMAF for a while.

Anyways for watercooling you'll want to look into car's radiators, not heatercores, those huge car radiators, you'll need to customize the fittings so it takes 1/2 tubings. Then connect 2 Hydor L35's in link, because 1 just doesn't provide enough flow rate. Also get a garbage can and fill it up with water, toss a bag of ice in there once in a while. You say your budget is no more than 400, and i think this is the only wan considering the fact that just your waterblocks is going to come near 300 dollars.

Ahh ok, well consider my recommendations, because the 4 waterblocks(2xCPU, 2xVGA, i'd recommend the Swiftech MCW6002 for CPUs, and Video go with the Dangerden Aceltle SLI blocks) is going to cost near 300 dollars,(don't watercool chipset or harddrive, use aircool on them to save some cash).

what i think you should do is run two loops, and buy 2 pumps and 2 heater cores... since your already dishing out so much cash, a lil over 400 won't hurt

2 TDX - 110
2 sli maze 4 - 110
2 dual heater cores - 70
4 panflo fans (114 cfm)- 48
2 aquaxtreme 50z - 150
2 res (make it yourself)
the loop will look like:

pump1>tdx1>maze4 1>heatercore1>res1>pump1
pump2>tdx2>maze4 2>heatercore2>res2>pump1

and you can always stick the number 4 acc. nozzle of the TDX to squeeze more performance out of it.
