40mm Box fan reviews

I'm looking for possible reviews done on 40mm x 10mm box fans.

we manufacture car audio amplifiers and looking to replace our current fan (AVC DA series 40mm x 40mm x 10mm).

The current one has 10.8CFM w/ 35.7dB-A

We can go down a bit on CFM but need to reduce dB-A below 20dB-A. If that's possible.

Any review charts of any Fan would be appreciate it.

Do they have to be 10mm thick? Can you make room?

I have some fans with similar noise level but twice the airflow, 40x40x25mm. But when I drop the voltage to 5v, they still put out around 10CFM and are nearly silent.

Thanks Crashman,

Yes, our limitation is our heatsink fins. We flush mount the fans on the fins itself.

So, I am limited to 10mm depth only. Possibly 15mm but nothing more.
