The extra clips that come with the Koolance block are more than long enough to do make it work on the card. I havent taken the factory heatsink and fan off yet so im not sure how the memory lays out. My card has a fail safe so that if you unplug the fan it throttles. I had to make a tiny circuit board so that I can fool the card into thinking the fan is running. BTW, if you run into others with the EVGA or any other card that keeps them from unhooking their fan you can refer them to me. Im selling these for around $15.00 plus the shipping.
