Do I need clockgen to do this? If so my MB isnt listed there and when I use the other abit ones the clocks are greyed out. I prolly can do this all in the bios tho right?

In the bios i was able to find ram voltage and i set it to the highest, couldnt find ram timing, bumped cpu coltage to 1.525, and coulnt find the rest in the bios. No increased speed yet im getting 2.045ghz and thats what i was getting brfore makes sense because i couldnt find 50% of the items i needed to edit in my bios

Ok, I was able to bump it up to 230mhz and it run smooth. When I went to 235mhz i was getting blue screen of deaths. My cpu is running at 2302mhz in comparison to 2040mhz when I first started! I'm very happy! Can I get it any faster or once I get blue screen of deaths I'm cappeed? Are you happy with the speed I have gained? I AM! :) thanks man

There should also be a BIOS option for AGP bus speed. Make sure that's set 66Mhz, otherwise it'll be proportional to your FSB so it will keep rising along with the FSB and you'll hit problems. That might be the cause of some of your problems.

I would suggest reading the overclocking guides at the top of the forum, since you obviously don't fully understand what the stuff you're changing does. It's a lot more difficult to permanently damage things through changing BIOS options than people would think, but it is possible.

I still cant get this game to run when I'm overclocking my cpu. Everything else works fine I can browse the net for hours etc and I wont have any problems but when I go to play this game it will get all the way to the loading screen then stop. I don't understand it.

run Prime95 or memtest86 to see if its the ram that is faulty.
You could run some 3dmark to test the vid card further. Like this you could isolate whats holding you back and work on it!

Asus P4P800DX, P4C 2.6ghz@3.25ghz, 2X512 OCZ PC4000 3-4-4-8, MSI 6800Ultra stock, 2X30gig Raid0

Its more too see if the ram can handle speed above 200mhz! When you OC the ram too far, you get errors, even if the ram is fine!
My ram wont do much more than 260mhz...altoguh it might eb the northbridge

ok i set the ram speed to 333, the games still freeze but everything else runs fine. I onsee AGP ratio in my bios and its like 8:2:1, 7:2:1, 6:2:1, fixed (66mhz), fixed (77mhz).

Right now its set to 66mhz fixed thats what its been at the whole time

but stuff is still frezzing up when i overclock, im also told that i will gain more benifit with a lower multiplier like 9x and then upping the system bus speed but i know noting about what the system bus is ^^
