Need help in identfiying status indicator on E815

That is the location indicator icon. Menu+settings+9 (on my V710).
Your manual will have more information as to what it does

Generally the "location indicator" has to do with the GPS
function. Functioning only when 911 (in US phones) is
dialed or functioning all the time.
