Hi,
I post it on the video card forum but I think I should post it here.
Please help me to make purchase decision!

*********************************************************
According to the review here:
http://www.bjorn3d.com/read.php?pageID=1707&Submit=Go&cID=822

X800 GT can be overclocked to X850 XT PE.
That is $300 difference.
Will that be possible?

Also, on the mwave.com website mentioned: "May over o'clock to x850xt "
http://www.mwave.com/mwave/viewspec.hmx?scriteria=AA37270

Will that worth to purchase?
Thanks for all your help!

It does not get near the performance of a X850XT PE, but is fine at lower resolutions.
It seems good bang for the buck, but your overclocking mileage will probably vary.

And the sign says "You got to have a membership card to get inside" Huh
So I got me a pen and paper And I made up my own little sign</pre><p></font color=red>

keep in mind that all of these "mods" are not 100% workable... so if you screw up your card/don't hit the exact OC then ur just wasting ur money. good ol' regular OC is much better =D

go get a x800pro and ln2 that mofo!

I think the card you mean is the Sapphire x800 GTO2. This card has a 100% chance of unlocking the extra 4 pipelines and can easily be overclocked to a x850 XT and some even overclock to a x850 PE. Thats the card you want.
