How long will I have to wait once I shut comp off to turn back on and check? I know a warm reboot won't be good to check ^^

What? What he means is the temp when the CPU is under full load. Run something that takes 100% cpu for 15 min or so, maybe an hour or 2 even, then check the temp. Something like folding@home, Prim95, etc.
