What is better:

To run at 231MHz x11 and with 2-2-2-5 memory timings
OR
To run at 254MHz x10 and with some 2-3-3-x or even 2.5-3-3-x memory timings?

Anyones knows what are the best timings for OCZ EL Platinum Rev.2 at 254MHz by the way?

I have achieved 2570MHz per core at 1.4V of vcore. Under full and complete load it's around 51C, memory is at 2.5-3-3-6 and 1T and looks stable (Running Prime95 and F@H now, will run Memtest86 overnigh). I realise the temp is a bit in the high end, on the other hand this load is theoretical as I will seldom be able to load both CPU's this much and yet, as far as I know 51-52C is pretty much operational and not harmful or is it? So, would you recommend keeping this setting or to back down on vcore and FSB?

Hmmm ... what do you mean?

That I have overclocked way too much? CPU temp was 33C on idle at stock settings, it now is 36C on idle (vcore upped from 1.2V to 1.375V), at full load it was at some 43-44C before, now it's at some 49-50C (I eased on overclocking, went back from 2580 to 2550 per core), temps seem to be coherent, or do they? Water temp (sensor is obviously not on mobo) also raised a degree +/-.

I want to get max performance but ONLY if the setting are safe and are not damaging the PC.

How is it that these x2 dual core cpus have stock voltages of 1.2 and my 3000+ venice single core has a stock voltage of 1.35~1.4 ?

Either way...it would be IDEAL to keep ur temps UNDER 50 celcious...+/- a degree or 2 is ok...

I dunno ... well, though it's a 4400MHz processor, in reality it's 2200x2, each core receives a voltage of 1.2V (by default?), so you should probably ask whether 1.2V stock is normal for 2200MHz processor? I OC'd till 2550MHz at 1.375V and will stop there, otherwise it gets too hot and/or unstable (watercooling works fine, but the pump is not the most powerful and the blocks are not the top of the range stuff either), at some 48-49C at full load I think I'm fine. What is the "PWM IC" temp and at what temp should it be? RAM is at 2.5-3-3-5 DDR510 which is not bad I think.
