When I purchased the OEM version of Win 7 Ultimate I was told that the 32 bit version would also be resident for 32 bit apps if you needed to boot use IE in 32 bit mode. Well, my 32 bit IE gives me an error. Tried reinstalling IE and no luck. What do I do so that I can run flashplayer in 32 bit mode?

32bit apps work just fine in 64bit Windows. What error message are you getting?

Yes, you should have no problem running 32 bit apps under a 64 bit version of Windows. What most people actually have problems with is programs out there that were written for previous Window versions like XP, 2000, etc that will not run under Vista or Win7, and it has nothing to do with the OS being 64 or 32 bit.

AFAIK, by default the Flash installs the 32bit flash plug in. There should be no need to change anything. This is assuming you are using a 32bit browser as there are quite a bit of compatibillity issues with Firefox x64 and other x64 web browsers.

What does the error say?

You should be able to install the 32 bit flash plugin with no problems.
