Mobile web help in Ft. Laudedale with a newer VZW phone

I can't seem to access a few certain web sites on my VX 4650.
For instance, I try to access the Florida Lottery website, I get the logo,
make my choice, then the screen goes blank for a few seconds and then back
to the page (logo) I started on.(I think ebay is the same way.)
I have also tried to access my AT$T worldnet email and it seems to hang up
and do nothing.
I took the phone back and exchanged it for another after the tech agreed
that the phone didn't appear to working right, but the second one is doing
the same thing. The only benefit of the newer phone is that it only takes
about 4-5 seconds to exit the mobile web vs 10-15 seconds like the first.
Also, using the up down buttons seems to be very slow, so slow in fact that
I have to hold the position and watch the highlight move ever so slowly
through the choices.
