How do I interpret Northbridge status codes?

Here's where you can find the AGP 3.0 specs:

There's *some* stuff on status register there but you'd need to get
detailed info on the north bridge chip in the system you're dealing with -
something like a BIOS & Kernel Programmer's Guide.
