Hi, does anyone have any pointer to good certification preparation
material for the latest Checkpoint CCSA/SE/SE+?? I don't seem to be
able to locate any books on this subject.. though there is a few
books around on older versions of the exams.

Checkpoint has a problem in that area-books from courses are not the
happiest solution although the best one. I tried Sybex and it will not
prepare you for CCSE (I have accomplished CCSA based on course materials,
but some extra experience helps)

Actually, the exams are such that, although it is possible in theory to get
both the CCSE and CCSE+ only via course material, it is unlikely. Checkpoint
appears to have modified the exams such that anyone who does not have some
real experiance in firewall administration and design especially in VPN and
Secureclient/secureremote will have a rough time. I consider the CCSE/CCSE+
to be more of a 'real' certificate rather than a paper certificated obtained
simply by reading course materials.
The Checkpoint books/course help big time [course especially since in most cases the
instructor can help emphasize areas of concentration]
The Syngress books also help since they provide some good summery information
I found the Boson tests to also be a good drill for the exams. They are not a
substitute but do help you drill. Generally I would take one of the exams in
an open-book fashion and then use the other three to drill [each Boson exam module
can be broken up into 4 'exams']
But the best resource for CCSE/CCSE+ was to have to administer a Checkpoint VPN
distributed system. Actually having to deal with it provided much of the knowledge
needed to pass [This is reflected in the section breakdown;we do not use Secureclient
and SecureRemote not VoIP and those were the sections of the exams that I had problems with]. The
information is covered in the coursework but the lack of day-to-day experiance hurts
