Import / Export Question

So now and then whan I get into a vehicle the game tells me that this
vehicle can be exported. So I usually go and export it and collect. I have
seen the lists of exportable cars on the Web, but are the lists also
anywhere in the game (like in VC)?

Also whenever I export a car I get told that now "another vehicle is
available for import". What's this importing business, where and how do I
import, and what's the point?

I guess I haven't been paying attention when the export/import stuff
opened up.

There is no wanted list in the game, which is a pain. I wrote the list
down in three sections then make a little mark next to each car I
collect. when it gets too scruffy i write it up again

The import is a little further on that dock, on a board, and the idea
is you can buy cars which you might like to drive. It's one way of
getting your hands on one of those little hovercrafts, or odd rare
cars, but generally I don't bother
