Intel will launch it's DCs on Monday, to coincide with the 40th
anniversary of the magazine article that started off Moore's Law. AMD
will launch its DCs on Thursday, to coincide with the 2nd anniversary
of the launch of its first AMD64 chip, Opteron. It doesn't look like
anyone is going to change their minds on these dates anymore. The
one-upmanship started when AMD's launch date was leaked to the press.
