This should put the final nail into the scumbus's coffin.
For years, because of the imperfect US judiciary system, most memory
manufactures chose to pay a small fee to silent the little one. But recently
Rambus wants everyone to pay for the patents used on DDR2 as they claim.
Finally, Samsung feels enough is enough and files the countersuit against
Rambus. This should have been done long time ago. The point of making an
industrial standard is that the public will have no compatibility problem
for the new products and pay as little as possible. In this case, don't know
how Rambus got their patents into an industrial standard (SDRAM). Rambus
probably did shred some documents to cheat other manufactures.
