Do it all the time...

I'm gonna guess you mean pure oxygen. If so, then yeah, I have :)

I'm a fan of rock-climbing, not mountain climbing, so I've never needed some oxygen during my ascent. Sounds cool though.

Actually, inhale, then filter out all other air compononents, you'll then have effectively inhaled a large amount of oxygen!

Yesss, and what kind of filter do you have installed in your lungs Eden? It's a damn good one if you can filter out all the nitrogen and CO2 after taking a breath.

BTW did you know that O2 is an acid? Not under normal temperature and pressure mind you. If you scuba dive using pure O2 and go beneath 33 feet you'll effectivly be breathing acid. Same thing if your regulator breaks and you inhale liquid 02.

That would make a pretty good CSI episode. There's a body that looks like it's been burned by acid, but no acid is found either on the body or at the crime scene. O2 would be undetectable.

Other undetectable ways of killing someone:

Inject them with purified nicotine. Nicotine overdose will stop your heart. It's not undectable mind you, but what crime lab ever tests for nicotine levels?

They tested for nicotine in an episode of Law and Order: Criminal Intent.
I remember because the episode had actresses with decent hooters in it.

O2 isn't an acid... but it is (of course) an oxidizer. That's what fux0rs you up. It practically slow burns you from the inside if you get too much in you. I think the super deep sea guys breath a mixture of 98% helium and 2% oxygen to keep from burning.

Yeah, I saw an episode of CSI where they tested for nicotine. It was the son who tried to kill his parents via carbon monixide poisoning.

The point is that it's not something regularly test for. It was specially ordered after they tried to figure out why the wife died but the husband didn't (he had quit smoking and was on the patch. She still smoked and thus had CO from the cigarettes already in her bloodstream).

LOL
The perfect Dutch Boy doesn't know the answer!

Oxygen refracts the blue wave length from the visible light spectrum.
Now you can tell all your friends you know why the sky is blue!

I already knew that... but as you might know atoms behave very differently in gas or liquid/solid state.
