Norton System Works One Button Checkup (follow up)

I keep having the same problem with Norton System Works 2002, when I use
the
One Button Checkup I get the following error. "A fatal exception OE has
occured at 00281C003COED in VXDIOS (01) + 00000BED current application will
be terminated" I have deleted the program and re-installed and ended up
with the same problem again.

Forgot also in order to use IE I end up having to disable Internet Security
also. It seems also that the security settings are higher than indicated.
I have gone through and reset them but with the same results.

When I first installed NSW after a fix disk/format it worked properly but
then it started the error again. Am using W989SE.

Any tips or has anyone else had this problem and solved it?
