Hello,
I am running windows 7 and at times my monitor shuts down by itself when leaving the computer for a while. How can I correct this problem

Go into your Power Options (in Control Panel) and change your profile to not put the system to Sleep or to Hibernate (if enabled) automatically. Good luck!
