HELP Please:Problem to display movies afteer CPU upgrade

Hi

I recently upgraded my CPU From a Athlon 1333 to Sempron 3000+. Now when I
watch a Movie (avi,mpeg,etc with every codec) I have many spot moving in
the movie like distortion. If I watch a DVD it does the same thing and the
sound too have distortion. All images (gif and jpg)have some spot
everywhere. I change the video card and it does the same thing.

If I watch the same movies and DVDson a other computer (athlon 1ghz)
everything is OK. The 2 computer have the same windows with all patches
installed.

Here is my system:

CPU : AMD Sempron 3000+
Mem : 1 gigs
Video card : NVidia GeForce4 MX 4000
Motherboard : Asus A7N8X-DLX
Windows XP Home SP2 french
DirectX 9.0c
Media Player 10

Does anybody have hint to help me to resolve this problem?
