Glitch In GTA SA

Theres a mission where you go on top of a building and have a sniper
rifle and have to shoot some guys across the street on top of a
building. Sometimes I shoot the guy in the head he falls down and
theres still a thing over him saying he's not alive, when I go out of
sniper mode I fail the mission and have to start over. I've got past
this part and not been able to beat the next part, but this glitch
happens alot for me when I kill all the guys and they are still alive.

Anyone else have this glitch?
