Seems like brands like Samsung and Eizo are comming forth with some
new type of LCD displays to the mass market. Samsung with their pivot
models P173 and P193 and Eizo with upcomming models like L568 and
L768. They seem to have ALOT better contrast ratio than other models
in their lines and viewing angles of 178 degrees.

Stats can be great but misleading however even reviewers like PCWORLD
for instance says P173 has Outstanding/Outstanding in text/graphics
quality.

Did something shift in how they make the LCDs? Are other brands
comming with products of similar specs?
