Memory for GP7-800

Looking for 2-256meg memory chips for the above. If I remember, Gateway
uses "low density", whatever that means. I found some double sided 32x8
chips on Ebay, are those "low density"? It is all confusing to me.
Crucial says their CT229634 are supposed to work for this machine, but are
these the correct ones? I don't know! Most what I see on Ebay seem to be
called "high density" and very reasonable in price.

Any directions would be appreciated!! What should I look for??

I assume the 16x8 are ones with 8 on each side and they would be low
denstiy? The others have only 8 on one side and that makes them high
density??

All of these numbers make my head swim! Not being an engineer or some such
thing, it gets pretty confusing. I looked at some chips the other day,
256mb, one had only 8 chips and they were very small and another piece had
16 chips and the chips were about twice the size as the ones on the other
and there is nothing on either that talk about 32x4 or 16x8. So it confuses
me more and more.
