Hey there!

I would like to know what the difference between FAT and NTFS files is. There are two or maybe more type of FAT files as far as I know - FAT16, FAT32, don't know about FAT8... might be. Never mind... I'd like to know what the actual difference between those files is. What I've heard is that NTFS files are the newest type of Windows files, and they are more secured than file type FAT, in a way. Is that true? On the other hand, I also heard that systems using file types FAT, though less secured, are run faster. Whoever feels like shedding some more light on the topic should feel free to do so.

Cheers,
Stamen
