I have a KDS monitor with GeForce card. The picture fills the screen
virtically, but not horizontally. I tried the screen adjustments but
they max out at 100%. I have WinXP Pro as an OS.

First try the screen adjustments offered in the driver for the GeForce
card. There are some settings there that let you adjust the video
vertically and horizontally.

Dropping the refresh rate a notch or two might help, as having the
refresh rate set too high for the monitor (nearing its limits, but not
enough to damage it) might cause this too.

I tried using GeForce utility - did not work. The refresh rate is set
at 60 which is low as it can go. Any other ideas?
