I think it is somewhat high.
I have a 17" GDM-17SE2T dated about 1997. They sell for $75 to $80.
I would think the 20" should sell for $100 to $150

Oh well. I got to this post a little bit late. Anyway, I ended up buying the
monitor. It's got a rather nice image so I can't say I'm entirely unhappy.
Color and brightness are excellent.
