I just installed Windows 7 this morning and my old wireless adapter works just fine. I bought it like 6 months ago.

Which adapter do you have?

D-Link DWA-130 is detected as soon as it is plugged into a USB port under Windows 7. Many other wireless adapters will be the same. The driver may not be completely up to date, but it should work.
