Pivoting LCD and degradation

Hello, did anyone notice degradation in the image-text quality when the LCD
monitor is portrait/vertical mode?

I noticed somewhat that the pivoting makes the text blur. Is that just me or
is that considered 'normal' for the pivoting. Any thoughts about it?

Thank you

"Pivoting" has absolutely no effect on the performance of the
display. However, when the screen image is re-oriented to
work with the now portrait-format monitor, you of course
wind up with the characters, etc., oriented differently with
respect to the color subpixels of the LCD. That DOES change
the look of the display somewhat, especially if it's a fairly
low-res screen to begin with.
