I have a Compaq PRESARIO 7594 running Win2000. I purchased a Xtasy
graphics acclerator to replace the ATI Pro Rage unit I had installed
about a year ago.
I uninstalled the old card and inserted the new one. PC will not boot.
I remove the new card and the PC will boot, and the monitor will work
if connected to the original graphics adapter on the motherboard.

I don't suppose you'd want to share with us WHICH model of Xtasy card you
installed?

Might be a Power supply problem. Most off the shelf systems,HP,Dell,Compaq come
with amazingly weak power supplies.
