I have Athlon XP 2500+, 512DDR 400, MSI KT4AV MB and FX5200VGA.
Everything was working fine until I put an internal microcom modem
into my PC. After that the resolution started randomly switch to
default mode - 800x600 with 4bit colours. I thought it has something
to do with the modem, so I changed the modem, changed the PCI slots -
there are no IRQ conflicts with the VGA card, and tried everything I
could possibly think of. But still sometimes my PC boots with normal
resoultion and sometimes with abnormal. I am not able to determine
where is the problem. Could you help me out?? THAAANXXX.
