Hi,

I've got a poweredge 1800 and i'm looking to add a decent graphics card -
unfortunately no agp but i've got a pci-e 4 and a pci-e 8 slot.

Does anyone know of any graphics cards that'll work in a pci-e 8 slot?

Been looking for a couple of hours now with no success - only made me more
confused!

Thanks!

Your confusion was in hoping to achieve high graphics performance with a
purpose-made server. For the purposes for which that box was designed the
built in Radeon is already overkill. x16 is the standard for video--you're
not going to find an x8 video board.

If you want a Xeon-based graphics machine from Dell, see if you can swap the
1800 for a Precision 670. Or build your own.
