I read here and there that Cingular will offer the V600 sometime in May???

Anyone with a more specific date and price for the v600??? from cingular???

Plus I noticed that the V600 is not an "EDGE" phone on AT&T's data network.
Is that the same for cingular???

Just bought one today (Southern California).

Some observations after having used the v400 for about 3 months now:

Just about the same phone...if you don't need bluetooth, the v400 is really
just as good a phone.
Slightly better audio sound on the v400, but this may be due to the fact
that the v600 earpiece volume is a bit louder, thus sounding a TAD more
distorted.
The flip design is not a good one on the v600. Opening the flip creates a
noticeable line on the face where the face meets the back of the phone once
it is opened. Cracking of the face is possible at this point, and has been
reported by many users in the Howards Forum.

Now that I own both, I would say it would be pretty much a tossup deciding
which one to go with if I had neither. I'd probably take the v600 due to the
bluetooth.
