Hard Disc

In the Mac mini 2011 model are you suppose to hear the HD at all through your computer speakers when you use them? Thanks

  1. No. You should never be able to hear the hard drive through the speakers. Are you sure there isn't static or just the noise of it from the case?

    It is happening to me. A clicking sound through the right computer speaker which is a Logitech Z130 model.

    Sounds like its a bad connection, the on board sound going or a problem in the speaker itself. Try connecting only one of the two speakers if you can.

    Apple put it through all the tests yesterday and it come back all positive. no problems with the Mac mini at all. Thanks

    Probably one of the speakers is the problem. I presume.
