In the Mac mini 2011 model are you suppose to hear the HD at all through your computer speakers when you use them? Thanks
No. You should never be able to hear the hard drive through the speakers. Are you sure there isn't static or just the noise of it from the case?
Tell me marv, why would someone make such a feature. It obviously isn't supposed to happen.
It is happening to me. A clicking sound through the right computer speaker which is a Logitech Z130 model.
Sounds like its a bad connection, the on board sound going or a problem in the speaker itself. Try connecting only one of the two speakers if you can.
You went Apple for the tech support, take it in to the shop.
Apple put it through all the tests yesterday and it come back all positive. no problems with the Mac mini at all. Thanks
All we can tell you is that no, it's not supposed to happen.
Probably one of the speakers is the problem. I presume.
