I just got a new Gateway laptop M520CS. THe first one they shipped me
had a bad hard drive right out of the box. The second one is now 1
month old and the plastic on top of the laptop is beginning to crack
where the hinges are. I called and they said I had to send it back at
my expense and they would fix it and send me a new one. I said I
understood that that is the standard warranty, but considering the
hassle I had to go through just to get the first one, I felt they
should mail me out a new one, and I'd mail them this one when I got
it. No dice. My other concern is that the next computer will have
the same problem. I have two questions: Has anyone had a similar
problem with a gateway laptop, and are there any suggestions on how to
get some action from Gateway? Thanks
