Has the game been changed at all? I can't say as I've noticed anything
different. Perhaps they've decided to actually put a Bigfoot in. There
doesn't seem to be any new cars or people that I've noticed, and the
map seems identical.

Just better graphics and controls.

Plus you can create you own custom radio station (you can do this on the
xbox version too) and it is far easier to mod the pc version, multi
theft auto are already on their way to multiplayer mod. Expect lots of
cool mods in the coming year.

I've noticed that quite often when you bump into another car, they'll
drive after you crashing into you to get revenge! I never noticed that
happen on the PS2 version?

You can download a no disk patch so that your disk can stay in mint
condition no matter how many hours you spend playing the game.

Same here!!! The other drivers seem quite agressive. A small bump will often
make them chase you to try to crash you out of the road!!! I don't remember
this happening in the PS2 version.

Indeed. Didn't notice this on the PS2 either. The PS2 had the occasional
crazy driver, but it didn't seem related to accidents involving you.

I like it, especially when they start chasing you :)

there's the one below (maniac drivers) and i've noticed that it is no
longer possible to get the damage/bullet/fire/explosion-proof tampa from
the "nines and ak's" mission.

for some reason, this pisses me off no end... i'm going to try for the
other "special vehicles" when the missions come up and if i can't get
those, i shall be mightily miffed. i won't be buying the next version.

one more change i've noticed is around the verona beach property... in the
large square to the east, there's now a load of benches which weren't
there in the ps2 version.

I noticed a few extras on the PC version of VC. The army base suddenly
has a load of extra buildings amongst other things.

Has anybody seen any actual gameplay changes? I'm going to be really
pissed off if PC gamers can now nick the Leviathan *and* retain it's
magnet....

Cheers,
Rob

>Has the game been changed at all?

I got it and played it last night, got as far as the mission after "OG
Loc", so here's what I can remember:

There are some fire hydrants in Grove Street and around LS

You can change camera angle while driving a car that has hydraulics

You can change camera angle freely while swimming and flying a 'plane

Next/Previous Target doesn't seem to work, although the onscreen
instructions say it should

You can read the labels on grocery products in 24-7 (but that's
graphics, really)

Controls take a bit of getting used to, but that should be obvious

That's about it, really.

Phil Hibbs.

I think you could put four vehicles in your garage in San Fierro with
PS2 version, but now it's only three in the PC version.

On both the Xbox and PC there are much more environment effects (more
trees, bushes, etc.) I'm suprised no one notices.

Yes, I mentioned the fire hydrants, there are a few other things like
that such as cardboard boxes and trees. I noticed a couple of potted
trees either side of the LS police station the other day.

That's graphics! Anyway, I already said that:

>You can read the labels on grocery products in 24-7 (but that's

Last night I flew the VTOL jet (hydra? or is that the tank) south over
San Fiero, and I could actually see the little tunnel on the east side
of Mt. Chilliad from far enough away that I could "thread the needle".
On the PS2, the draw distance wasn't sufficient to reliably nail that
run, and the PC controls are, in my opinion, better for flying it.

Another difference: no 2-player mode!

Which means, of course, no free girlfriend bonus for entering 2-player
mode after a date.
