I have a few months until my one year VZW contract expires. I know there's
a "new after two" upgrade option, but I wonder if there is something similar
for a one year contract? Does VZW offer a discount on a new phone in this
case? Just looking for accurate info so I can have realistic expectations

You'll get a phone at the 'new customer' price when renewing your
contract. You won't get the extra $100 NE2 credit towards a more
expensive phone.

"New Customer" price meaning you may be able to get a phone for free. I've
never signed a 2-year, but every time 10 months is up from my contract date,
I get a cheap new phone. Got my kx1 Kyocera for $39.

Thanks for the replies. So, is ten months into a one year contract the
point where VZW starts to offer a phone discount incentive?

Does VZW ever offer phones (when renewing) that costs less than $20? A few
yrs back, my sister upgraded her AT&T phone for only $10.
