In the Charlotte NC market, #646 sends me two text messages, one with
my phone's totals, the second with the totals for the entire family
share plan.

#3282 (DATA) sends me one message with text messages sent and received
"IN" and "Other", the other with "PIX-FLIX" sent and received "IN" and
"Other".

Started working in PA too. That is a good feature that has been missing.

I just did it in Southern California, and it sent me two also. That
is a nice feature.

Do I have to pay the $.10 to receive those text messages?

Wrong (in California). #646 and the automated voice lady says
"A free text message containing this information will be
automatically sent to your handset".
Note the word "free".

I see they send two messages even if you have only one LOS. I wish
they wouldn't do that.

No, if you listen to the automated message it should tell you that you will
be receiving a "FREE" txt message containing the infomration.

What is the text of the message? Is it "Family share total estimate...."
and 0 totals or somethiong else? Maybe make a quick call to CS and give
some feedback about the oversight.

Two messages, one with a subject of "Estimate as of..." and gives the
totals. The second has a subject of "Family Share Totals" and gives
the exact same totals.

The new text message features of bill/minutes/etc are free messages. The
prior post stating that you are charged .02/.10 is incorrect. If you have
message block; you won't get those messages, but they are at no charge. dr
