Okay, a new issue.

How do you stop Windows XP (Home edition, grrr) from constantly reinstalling
newer drivers on bootup?

Every time I uninstall the new drivers and put in the old, the damn thing
restores the latest drivers on restart. And I don't want them!

They're in a system file called WINDOWS/SYSTEM32/ReinstallBackups. Can I
jsut overwrite them with the older driver files, despite the dire warnings
not to chenge system directories?
