Am i correct, is the GPU interface only 128bit?

That's the highest available. You must be thinking of total memory. There
are 256 MB versions available, but it doesn't make much difference.

No, you are reading it incorrectly. 128 MB of RAM, not 128-bit wide data
path.

Some FX cards do offer a 128-bit memory architecture, be cautious.


Research everything you can about the specific card you want to buy
even before you enter the store.


Packaging (especially the video card boxes) are very appealing, but
they can also mess with your head.


Read up on forums about what people are getting for overclock speeds
and performance.


Check www.futuremark.com in the Project Browser area, it shows other
people's benchmarks with specific cards and computer configurations.

Got one for some months, and no, it's a 265bit card. That model and
Creative's 5900 both with shorter pcb and 400/700 came out back in September
when there was no xt designation and are recognized as regular 5900 with
temp control. It's a nice xt with good cooling on mems and weights a lot
lol.
