Recently installed this card and the provided 52.16 drivers. Then I
immediately updated to 56.55 drivers.
During some games the display will go black and seems to lock. Are the
56.55 drivers buggy or should I look at hardware problems? Other posts in
the group indicate 53.03 are good.

Gigabyte 7VKMP mobo
512 MB ram
300W PS

I recommend 53.03. 52.16 were the first drivers to support the 5700 series,
and a number of bugs were found and fixed with 53.03.

What kind of overclockability have you got from your particular V9570 TD?

I'm running at 500/600. The max my memory could do without artifacts was
616, but I took it back a bit just for safety and because it's a nice even
number. My core could probably do higher, but there's not much point since
the main bottleneck is the memory bandwidth.

No attempts as of yet. Still working on the driver issue and trying to rule
out any other problems.

I tried the 53.04s on my FX5700, had lockups, uninstalled and put the 53.03s
on . Now all is joy.....
