Home to Professional?

Ok this might be a silly question, but I just want to be 100% with this.

My friend gave me a copy of Windows 7 Home to use just to get an OS on my new computer I'm building this weekend. Since I dont have an activation code for Home, Im going to then download Windows 7 Professional from the student deal they have going on Microsoft's website.

My question is, installing Professional onto Home wont cause any problems will it?

So long as they both are 32 bit or 64 bit, it shouldn't be a problem to do the upgrade.

Cool, actually I am glad you brought that up because I just realized this CD that my friend gave me of Windows 7 is the 32 bit version. You really saved my ass just now hah.
