Man, that's low. Makes you wonder how much of it goes on in the industry. Can't have been the first time this company or another tried the trick.

They say they've never delt with the company before, so it should be fairly easy to guess. Make a list of all companies they have not reviewed.

i had the same thought but look at thier list of graphics card reviews...they are all nvidia cards....look at their motherboard reviews...they are basically companies that also make nvidia cards.

Reply to Boilermaker

you're right, it could be any company. The OC Cafe has some nice reviews, but they are all of Nvidia cards! That's extremely craptastic.

THe writer of those messages is from a company that makes ATI cards and I can almost guarentee that he is Asian.

It probably is happening more than often with nVidia reviews lately. They're in a desperate attempt to sell their crap FX cards.

i agree...i mean what kind of dumbass would do something like that...i think first you have to offer some money or a benifit...

I would not be sold out by a gpu...it would have to be more...who would possibly ruin their reputation...just to get a gpu...

I hope it is not sapphire...i just ordered their 9500

What?
Even then!
For a million bucks I would still not concede and destroy my principles for a company. I'll be downright honest anyday. If they (the companies) can't handle the truth, then they should go look elsewhere.

hmmm...i dunno...for a million bux though...

I would have to be in the situation...i cannot judge....

Certainly i would not do it for the money that they would give me...what 200bux..that is way not worth it...

But maybe for a million...i would donate half to charity...there does that make me sound less of a sleeze...again i would have to be put in that situation...i would not be able to look at people in the eyes again though...probably i would feel guilty the week after...and change the review...
