I just bought the audigy 2 zs platinum pro.
Will all the recent games play in 7.1 surround sound now with this card? Games like Call of Duty and battlefeild 1942.
bf 1942 support said bf only supports 5.1. So does that mean I won't get 7.1 surround sound. But creative support said this:
"For pc games, currently they can go up to the highest of 5.1 only. But using our sound card, you can get 7.1 surround card from it, by doing an upmix which is an available feature on the sound card. Thus perhaps you can consider on getting the sound card if you are interested in getting 7.1 surround sound effect."
I'm confused.
