Just of curiosity, I installed this game today, which was included with my
graphic card.
I was very suprised how low frame rate I got in the game when setting all
details ('View distance' in particular) at the highest level. I mean, this
game is not exactly the most recent, so I was expecting smoother graphic. In
fact, I'm getting far better performance in some more recent games, eg. Call
Of Duty, Max Payne II to mention few - MUCH better, by the way.
So can someone tell me what's the deal with this game (or my card)?

My system is:
Athlon 2000+
256 MB RAM
MSI GF5900 SPVTD 128 MB (53.03 graphic driver)
WinXP PRO SP1

Thanks in advance!

Morrowind is a *very* badly optimised game. It's better on Radeons because
of the pixel shading, but it's still weak there too. I've tested it with my
FX 5950 Ultra and a 9800 Pro on my P4 2.4 @ 2.7 and the framerates are not
great.
