CDM8940 Question

I have a new CDM8940, and have used the seceure digital card to capture
some pictures. However, in attempting to view those files on my PC (by
taking out the card and plugging it into a card reader on the PC, I find
that the files cannot be read. It seems that Verizon has somehow mangled
the JPG header. The Audiovox manual says something to this effect. I'm
sure it's to force a user to use their pay-per-download for images!

Now, it seems to me that some bright person has probably bother to
figure out how they mangle the header, and have written some PC program
to un-mangle (!) the header.

Anybody know of such a utility program?
