Hi all,

I have a problem with S-Video IN on an ASUS V9560VS, composite is OK,
S-Video is blank. With S-Video connected switching to composite
produces a black and white image (i.e. only luminence and no chroma
(colour) information.)

Have tried latest WDM drivers after uninstalling old ones. Have seen
others sending messages with the same problem with other Asus card
types (9520) but no solutions.

Can anyone shed some light on this with a solution to the problem as
I'd rather be transferring video in S-Vid format and not composite or
through the camcorder via firewire.

Thanks in advance.

- Rob.

Likely your s-video in isn't actually true svhs. What source are you using?

S-Video from a Panasonic commercial S-VHS VCR deck. It is S-Video and
plays to a S-Video monitor with no problems.
