I have an Asus card with the FX5200 chipset. My computer is set to shutoff
the monitor after 30 minutes. The screen goes black and the light goes from
green to yellow. It never goes to amber and the CRT stays hot. With other
video cards it went off. I know this is written into the drivers because
Nvidia wants the monitor to snap back on and not wait for it to warm up. Is
there a way to change this such as an alternate or modified driver? I used
older drivers with my TNT2 to accomplish this.
