FAR CRY glitch solution

Hi all

Just in case this hasn't been posted before. I noticed people having
problems with Far Cry glitching,especially with the 5900xt.
I searched forums etc. and found the solution is to install the 61.11 beta
drivers from www.guru3d.com This WORKS and I have cranked up everything on
high WITHOUT any glitches.

I have the LEADTEK 5900xt and the ram cranked over 900Mhz,the GPU to over
450.... a bit hot at those specs,so i intend putting heatsinks on the ram.
I am more than happy with this card.

Yeah I to saw people have reported success with these drivers, but I don't
want to use a beta version, plus as I use shutter glasses I have to wait for
the official release (the card drivers and stereo drivers have to be a
matched pair)
I myself have a FX5900 non-XT non-ultra and as the first game I tried on it
was Far Cry I was a bit dissapointed with its performance. But having
finished Far Cry I was so fed up with the glitches in graphics I deleted it
and, now having gone back to games like UT2004, LOTR ROTK, C&C Generals and
Call of Duty I am well pleased - the frame rates with everything set to the
highest settings possible are fantastic and a quantum leap from my old vid
card
