Hello,
what do i do to stopped numbers coming out when i am typing letters? it only happens when i am trying to get on my yahoo messenger. i turned off the numberlock and used the fn button but it did not work.

MAybe ur keyboard is going out. HAve u tried a different keyboard. If its a usb keyboard did u try it in a different usb slot? If u did and the result is the same did u try a ps2 u know the keyboard with the round connection? If u did any of the above and u still are getting numbers maybe u accidentally hit a key that is giving u numbers. This is not a solution just some things 2 ponder.

Press the Start key + R.
type osk in that box and hit enter On this keyboard, try toggling numlock scrolllock and capslock a few times. does it help?
I think your numlock might be stuck on and your keyboard "num lock" key isnt working

Our laptop was having this issue after we unplugged an external keyboard. Hold the SHIFT & NUMLOCK keys on your laptop and it should fix the problem. It did ours.
